Abita Luxury Rentals is a curated portfolio of seven privately owned luxury homes within the Mauna Lani Resort, on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Every property in the portfolio sits inside one of three distinct Mauna Lani communities: Nohea, Villages, and Terraces. Each home is supported by an on-island team and offered exclusively for short-term luxury stays.
Our Nohea homes are detached residences set within a private gated community, each with its own pool and spa, and each stocked with bicycles for guest use. Four of the Nohea homes are four-bedroom layouts sleeping up to eight guests, well suited to multi-generational families and small groups travelling together. The fifth, Nohea Lot 25, is a three-bedroom variation sleeping seven, designed for slightly smaller parties who still want the privacy of a detached home with a private pool. Villages 724 is a three-bedroom plus office residence with private pool and spa, overlooking the Mauna Lani South Course, sleeping six to seven, and is a strong fit for golf-focused stays. Terraces G201 is a one-bedroom condominium with a generous lanai, designed for couples seeking a quieter, walkable resort experience.
Every Abita stay includes complimentary access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, located on the protected waters of Maka'iwa Bay, with beach chairs, snorkeling, oceanfront dining at Napua, and easy parking. Stays also include access to the Mauna Lani Sports Club, with a lap pool, fitness studio, tennis and pickleball courts, steam rooms, and daily group classes. Guests can ride, drive, or walk to the resort's restaurant collection, including the Auberge Resort and Fairmont Orchid.
Abita Luxury Rentals is owner-operated. Direct bookings include personal pre-arrival support, an in-property welcome guide, and a returning-guest rate for past visitors. We hold all required Hawaii short-term rental licenses, and every property is inspected and prepared between every stay. The minimum stay is four nights, and we maintain a transparent pricing model with cleaning fees and Hawaii GET, TAT, and HCTAT taxes shown clearly at the time of booking.

Our four-bedroom Nohea homes (Lots 6, 13, 24, and 26) sleep up to eight guests. Nohea Lot 25 is a three-bedroom layout sleeping up to seven. Villages 724 is a three-bedroom plus office residence sleeping up to seven. Terraces G201 is a one-bedroom condominium sleeping up to four. An extra-guest fee of $150 per night, per additional guest, applies to parties of more than six. For example, a party of eight would be charged an additional $300 per night above the nightly rate.
All Abita properties have a four-night minimum stay year-round. Holiday and peak periods may carry longer minimums; specific minimums for your dates are confirmed during the booking process.
Yes. Past Abita guests receive a returning guest rate when booking directly through abitaluxuryrentals.com. We also recommend booking direct because it includes personal pre-arrival support and removes third-party booking fees.
All detached homes feature private pools and spas. Pools are heated during the winter months and typically do not require heating during the warmer summer months. If pool heating is requested during the summer months, it may be provided for an additional fee. Hot tubs and spas are heated on demand year-round.
